I'm a Graphic Designer with a background in architecture currently based in Charlottetown. In 2022 I decided to dedicate myself to graphic design at Holland College where I felt happy to exercise my observation skills, problem-solving and critical thinking. Currently, I am working at the architecture studio Nine Yards.
I had the honour to be a gold medalist in the Skills Canada PEI 2024 competition, and I'll be representing PEI in the Skills Canada National Competition in Quebec. I had the opportunity to be a part of Thinking Big during the 2023 summer as a Junior UX Designer where I learned about solving problems through the user perspective, intuitive UI, app development, user testing and OOUX.
I got my bachelor's degree in Architecture and Urbanism from the Federal Fluminense University (UFF) in Brazil. I gained a scholarship from the government to study Interior Design for a year as an exchange student at Cork Institute of Technology (CIT) in Ireland where I did an internship at Keating Architects. I was born in Rio, studied in Rio's metropolitan area and worked as an intern architect for Fstudio and Candido Arquitetura.
My native language is Portuguese and I'm also learning French. I am naturally curious with a wide range of interests and have worked independently as an architect in Brazil for 4 years and you can see my architecture portfolio here.
The software I use is Revit, Autocad, Sketchup, Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, and Figma.
